I hadn’t raced since 1991 and only stopped to look at the track after a football match… now I’m hooked! The members we’re instantly welcoming, no question ever felt silly and Ive learnt a huge amount. I’ve made a great new group of mates and genuinely feel like a kid again. If you are thinking about giving RC racing a go, SHRCCC is the perfect place to do it… you’re never too old to bet back in and never too young to start!

Last October I decided to pop along to the club to see what it was like after about 35 years away from RC racing.
I was pretty much hooked straight away, and have returned for most of the race days since. Great atmosphere with great people always willing to help and give advice.
